Default Drivers door weather stripping Leaking air

Has anyone had a problem with a door leaking air over 40mph. I thought it was my window so I installed in channel ventshades to tighten up the seal but that did not work. Yesterday driving in this wonderful New England 10 degree weather , I could hear air coming thru I pulled the door tighter and it seemed to stop the air leaking. Is there a way to tighten the door seal or do I have to replace it. Thanks

Is the air leak above the door handle? Like towards the top? Only solutions that have worked is either to replace the weather stripping $$$$$$ or put your window down and try to bend the top in towards the cab. put your knees into the door panel and pull inwards. I've done that on a few vehicles and it works great.
if you bring it to a garage or a dealer they would do the same thing and charge an hour for diagnostics likely.

For an entire door or the rubber strip towards the front top area?( i think the seperate top seal is called the secondary seal???) Door seals are butyl compound which is expensive. Suprised they would only be $20 a door? Especially the driverside where most people would need to replace after a few years of abuse. I figured they would bend everyone over on stuff like that. I used to have this problem as well. Replaced the weatherstripping under warranty and that fixed it.

I mentioned mine to the dealer when I had it there for an oil change and they put "New and improved" seals in for free. They said there was a TSB about it. Mine's an 04, though, so I don't know if that would apply to yours as well or not. Worth asking.

The upper or "secondary" seals get torn by the doors opening and closing due to a poor design. The replacement seals are redesigned so the door will not hit them. I changed mine in November and they were about $20 each from the dealer. Takes 5 minutes to replace. You can see the difference in the seals if you lay them side by side.
