Default SFA lift.. 2500 /MC help

I had ordered a suspension lift a while back but they sent the wrong kit so i returned it . I didnt buy a new one yet ...in the mean time i got some coil spacers 2.5" front and 2" rear block. my question.....for those of you with a SFA and or a mega cab /2500 / 1500 .. did you have any problems doing the 2.5 in the front ?? by that i mean did you need to get new shocks , new drop pitman ect?? Top gunzs people are idiots they said ya you need a new pitman over 2" ... but then you call back and you get no you dont ?? i just want the truth lol so i come to my buddies that REALLY know . so in a nut shell if i do the 2.5" in front what am i going to have to replace.

you're gonna have to replace that SFA with an IFS. That SFA will break in no time... feel free to send it this way. I'll pay for shipping

I put a 2" on mine and did not need to replace anything. The guys told me that if you go with more than that you will need to replace the shocks, but it looked like they had plenty of length left. I got mine from fat bobs garage and the guys seemed to know their stuff, but you know how most salesmen are.
