Still don't know anything on it. I posted a link to the kit that I got but nobody has responded on what they think. A post from earlier said that I only needed to get extensions on 02-05 rams but the kit is for 99-2008 rams so that kind of throws me off a bit.

It'll work for your truck. These are really simple kits to do. I've heard the same thing. I think you'll be ok on the stock shocks you have. It wouldn't hurt anything to put the kit on and run it on the stocker shocks. If you notice your ride is suffering because of it, you can always get longer shocks. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thanks for the follow up. Can I get longer shocks at autozone or something like that. I want to make sure that if I do need shocks I can get them quickly without having to order. I do not want to do anything bad to my truck.

I just pulled up on shock and strut warehouse the shocks for my 2004 and your 2008. They are the same part numbers. So, all you would have to do is go to somewhere like that website or shockwarehouse.com or even roughcountry.com and order a set of shocks for a 2004 that will go with a 2" lift.

OK. I just got off the phone with TRUXX. They guaranteed me that I will NOT need extended shocks for this to work. They said that the newer model rams are made with some play in the shocks and the level kit is perfect for that extra play. They said that I could also fit 35/1250/20 on there if I am running 33" tires now, which I am. So there you go, TRUXX does not require and extra shocks.

I'm glad you got squared away. Just put 'er on and enjoy the truck my friend. Also, when I looked up shocks for the two years, they were for 2wd's. Just good information for later on should you need it!!! Good luck.

yea cloud, im looking forward to seeing how yours turns out. Dont forget to measure the spacer before install.

I have longer shocks and they arnt exactly giving me a cadillac ride. I might have been hurting myself by buying new shocks. I hope that it turns out as good as you like us, keep us posted!

I will try to post some pics of the spacer so you can see what I am talking about.
