ohh youve already got them???sorry i thought you were going off the website

steel ones do not give the dampening effect that the poly ones do, BUT the steel ones also do not settle like the poly ones, so if youve got 2" of lift you have 2" of lift....and remember, you are actually changing the angle of the control arms by the frame, so you actually get more lift than 2". And dont forget the alignment, very important

It is about 1 3/4 of an inch. Three inches from top to bottom.

You should be good as long as it is installed properly. Nice kit. It shouldn't matter on comfort since it's just pushing your stock spring down a little. The ride should be the same, just remember if you want shocks what I put on the previous thread.

Cloud,

I am also puting that kit on my 08 Mega Cab 2wd even with the extra weight the shocks are still guaranteed to work just fine. I had a 2" on my 07 silverado and the weight difference from hauling heavy loads didnt really make a difference. Especially now the rear end suspensions on most trucks are beefed up more mow than they use to be. I just cant wait to get mine in the mail. Check out 4wheel drive magazine website, I looked at a step by step install of a 2" kit on the front end, tons of step by step pics. The main thing is to mark the alignment rings that connect the lower arm to the frame. This is muey importante when you go to reinstall if you want to drive straight afterwards. the picks also explain this step. Good luck man!

i have this same kit for my truck. i have an 07 2wd. my truck is already leveled in the rear because i took off the over load leaf spring.
but i also have a 3 inch body lift kit and 2inch lift blocks for the rear, now my question is do you think i can run a 35 on a 20 after i install all the lift parts i have or should i just buy the 3 inch lift spindles? only asking because i got a hell of a deal on these yesterday
20 msr's on 35x10.5 nittos
