E-Fan Mod, Found perfect controller.
I hate the cheap fan controllers for this mod and having to tap into the rad fins. Also not being able to easily control both speeds of the taurus fan that is in my truck without elaborate wiring setup. Well, I found a controller that allows for use of the existing temp sensor and at the same time allows for the use of the 2-speed taurus fan. It is not a bad price at all either if you consider it already comes with one 70 amp relay.
Its a Dakota PAC-2700.
For those who are as interested in this as I am, Here is manufactures link.

That is by far the best controller available. You should know that the relays it comes with are the standard Bosch type and they won't hold up to the abuse of the markviii and/or viper fans. You'll need to upgrade to a stinger sgp38 relay if you want peace of mind. Since you already ordered the controller, I'll spare you the lecture about how the low side pulls more than the stock fan, thus making the high side pointless. Oops, I spilled the beans....
I appreciate it Rubber, However, I already knew that. It's just nice to have peice of mind. The fan has 2 speeds, I would like them connected the way it is supposed to be, Used or not, Just in case. Also, Like I said, I have never liked the temp sensor thru the radiator fin bit. I do like being able to use the stock sensor though.
Im not sure I get it about the relay, They are pretty basic devices and there is not whole lot to fail. Do you know exactly what tends to fail in the Bosch relays? Contacts or coils or are they subject to connector corrosion?

Normally I would agree, However, Im obsessive about thing being as close to what a manufacturer would do as possible or better. I don't like things looking like they were cheaply hacked together and thats the way my setup looks at the moment.
I hope you can prove me wrong Rubber, but im nearly positive the low side flows less cfm than the stock clutch fan. the high side flows much more though. and trust me... if he does any kind of towing in real hot weather he might want that high side
