i dont even remember the parts, please dont make me break out my old diagrams from school. tie rods is definitely one thing, alignments will be thrown out of whack, lug nuts is the least of your worries
When I lived in CT, I had to go up a decent hill to get home. One time when it snowed this ******** in a compact was in front of me crawling along and decided to come to a complete stop (no oncoming traffic) before deciding to make the rest of the left turn. Since I lost any momentum I had, when I tried to get moving again of course the tires spun. In order to get up the hill, I ended up going in the direction I wanted at a 45º angle in second gear at 3000-3500 rpm. I thought for sure I cooked my tranny.

I believe the only way to throw your alignment out is if you're doing this on DRY pavement and your tires caught. On wet roads you're tires are pretty much floating on the surface with water between your tread and the road. Man, who p!ssed in your cereal this morning?
oh yeah, i do it all the time, but only really when its wet. i dont spin the tires on dry pavement cuz "tires are expensive" but it doesnt wear the tires that bad at all...
I flipped in out Jeep Grand Cherokee once cause some kid was drifting and hit into me cause me to flip the jeep. Sucks *****. I used to drift every once in a while when I had my old tire but since the mudders... nope... lol
i do it all the time when it rains... i can actually spin doughnuts on wet pavement until the crappy locker unlocks...
like everyone else said, you will only wreck something if you lose control, or hit a pothole when wipped sideways
