Those of you running big tires need to be more concerned about the sidewalls rolling under the rims. Gotta do some pretty crazy "drifting" but it happens. I had it happen on my old Dakota and was lucky I didn't put the truck on it's side.
Other than a random fluke accident like that there's not a whole lot of damage you could do.
I believe the only way to throw your alignment out is if you're doing this on DRY pavement and your tires caught. On wet roads you're tires are pretty much floating on the surface with water between your tread and the road. Man, who p!ssed in your cereal this morning?
right ....we been saying the whole time nothings gonna happen read all your posts mdram....they all say "you can break something" in all of them.....its not a big deal but were not dumb or stupid enough to break something doing it, i mean i bought my truck with my money and ill do what i want with it.....and i wont blame somebody if I do something stupid and ef it up.....

Exactly. I didn't want to come across as mean, but on another thread where the guy asked about mods to help his 4.7 he just told him not to bother and don't waste your money. I just thought he was p!ssed about something. Thanks for the little back-up jay. Atleast I'm not the only one who saw that.
yeah he came accross with hair accross his a$$ for sure in this thread and in the 4.7mods? one....needs to check his facts first....i aint trying to be a di.c.k. at all but jeez....
i screw around all the time when it snow around here and only problem i have had was hitting a small tire track that was dry pavement that through off my alignment
Drifting is something that is frowned upon. Motorcycles are frowned upon. Especially by the parents hehe. But somethings in life need to be fun as a sanity balance with the rest of the craziness of life now-a-days. The drifting in the snow and the bike in the spring allows me to stay sane while working 20hrs/wk taking 21 credits in an Honors engineering school. In all it needs to be done in a safe manner as to limit the danger but still allows you to live.
