HAHA Weed. If you wanted to do it the "right" way then a spark plug socket works great. It was just a little tight getting to the back ones. The flexible hose was awesome and it was a good for the "feel" of it.

HA! I know the feeling but if you do a body lift then you will have more room back there. ::hint hint::

a old spark plug boot, if you have a old set of wires laying around, works great too.

Go with the OE Champions, they come pre-gapped at .045". As for platinums please do not do that to your engine, HEMI's are high compression engines not made for platinum plugs, they break down and gap widely at around 10K miles. I had a dealership mechanic tell me they had a HEMI come in where someone put platinums in it and were racing the truck at the local strip. Engine was making a terrible noise after they took it apart they found the tip of one of the platinum plugs broken off and welded to the inside cylinder wall. Platinums can't handle the higher temperature of high compression engines. They work fine for going the speed limit on cruise control but if your hot roding the gas pedal or towing anything larger than a canoe don't risk it. The engineers spent years deciding what the best spark plug was for the HEMI thats why they recommend it, don't listen to some over night mechanic who thinks more expensive parts equals more horsepower...However Iridium plugs work just as good and only need replacement at 50K-60K rather than 30K but at $6 a plug for 16 of them I would stick with the champions, I bought 16 of them at NAPA for $1.59 a pop yesterday

ughh, I hate those cheap things. The WIRE gapper is the ONLY tool i would ever use on my plugs. I suppose a little difference from one plug to the next won't make a big difference right away, but as they wear down they will.
FYI. I gapped all of my plugs for my mustang one time using the half dollar tool(slider type) and then checked with the wire gapping tool ($5) 3 of the plugs were .02" off, 1 was .04" off, and 2 more were .01" off.
That's 6 out of 8 that were wrong and you guys are installing 16 of them. I know .02 doesn't seem like much but, .047" compared to .045" is more than I'd like, especially when getting upwards of .04 diff.
Those are a good general checker, but they are just too cheap for me. Inconsistent i suppose is the proper wording.
