yeah, I know froggy... but from a distance, it's not "over the top", yet anyway.

It looks like I'm gonna have a sheet of black DP and a sheet of shiny DP on my hands if I can't get back in the shop to make those 15 sets of sill plates. So, I'm thinking of using the 4x8 shiny one for a bed cover even though I have the BedRug in there.

Man, I hope he gets power at the shop, I really didn't need to take a $250 loss on this deal...

I'm told this week, but I ain't real optimistic. I'm setting a deadline of the last day of the month to be able to get back up there, so that's basically a week. If not, everybody will get their $ back and I'm gonna abort and take the loss on what I paid for the aluminum. Was thinking about trying to hand cut it, but I think it will look like home made crap and I ain't gonna do that. Shame too, because I thought mine came out really nice and at $60 a set, I was making a couple bucks and y'all were getting a really good deal on 'em. I ended up with 15 orders, I think six to people on here, seven on another forum I posted on and a couple more to buddies with trucks.

If I gotta abort, then I'm thinking about cutting the 4x8 sheet of DP with a skill saw and making it into a bed mat. I have a BedRug now, but the shiny DP will look cool on top of it. Although you'd go blind putting sh*t in the bed if the sun angle was just right... LOL
