Made a couple more mods for the truck out of polished aluminum. Just need to polish 'em up and install them...

This one is obvious what it is:



This is a sill plate set, I put the letters on the front two, the rear two are just blank polished aluminum. Still waiting for the 4'x8' sheet of diamond plate to come in, may remake these out of diamond plate as well. My sill was getting pretty scratched up from climbing in with boots on, so these were a good addition:

Those look really good. Love the sill plate, not sure how it will look out of diamond plate but which ever set you don't use you can send my way.

I can make y'all some, but the Hemi logo is copyrighted. Plain is easy, and when I get the diamond plate will look killer. Problem with the punched letters is you have to plot EVERY punch for X/Y axis. It took me two hours to plot just the four letters. I couldn't charge enough for the time it takes.

I'm actually looking into a way to letter / logo some of these things without having to punch. I just sold someone a polished front plate with a vinyl design they made and sent me in a .jpg file. But again, getting a single vinyl cut, one time only deal ain't cheap either...

yeah just save the forms and say "this is what i have, buy it or not". you'd get a lot of buyers on what you currently have, and the work is already done

 

the hemi logo is copyright, but change the font and copyright is gone. people sellin that chit all over ebay.
and once you got the program written you can repeat without reprogramming can't you?? start up the business already.

yeah, the punch press can save patterns, I think up to 99 of them. Once I have one, like the license plate, I can throw a full sheet of aluminum in, go to lunch and have 9 plates done when I get back, ready for polishing...


The letters are punched holes, whatever color your truck is, just shows thru.
