Default Thermostat? Or am I just messed?

So when I start my truck (remote) I would like it to be nice and cozy when I get in. Its been -10 or sometimes -15, when i get in its warm but not the WARM WARM. It really does not blow warm air until you start driving it for a little while. Is it a sticky thermostat? Or something else? Or is it just normal with this year of ram?

Not being an a$$, but it's -15 outside man. That would probably take a good 20-30 minutes to warm up good. Your motor just isn't getting warm enough. Maybe put your heater on the first fan setting to give your motor a chance to warm up good. The heater bleeds warmth out of the cooling system.

well i forgot to mention that i do let it warm for 10-15 mins sometimes it times out...the temp gauge does not go up over cold, only until 2-3 minutes after i drive it. ONLY when i drive it.

I had a VW Jetta and at -30 or -40 it would be nice and toasty after 15 minutes. Thats why i ask.

smaller engines warm up faster, they have less mass to soak the heat up

The engine warms faster when it's actually working. Idling in the driveway is not working.

I remember being in Chicagoone year for Xmas and we were out driving and it was in the single digits and that engine never really did warm up to blow enough heat. Thats just how it is sometimes man

Get a peice of cardboard to cover half the radiator with. That will get it warmer faster.

it warms up fast when i start driving it...like im talking minutes, it finally moves the temp gauge up once you start driving it...but its nice to get into a nice hot vehicle vs one thats lukewarm...
