I like the AirRaid but could not find it for less than $100. I put this one together for about $45 or so. The HID kit I bought from HIDextra.com for $60 shipped after the $15 off coupon code. They are 8000K and look pretty good at night. I like them. I plan on doing the heads eventually.

I would like to eventually do the Hellas in HID as well, but you have to modify the casing for the Hella 500 because of the depth. The Hella 700s are a little deeper and a little larger than the 500s. But that will come!

Everything looks good buddy! I did my intake the same way, but yours looks a little bit classier. I used regular ol plumbing couplers, 4-3.5in Then painted the tube black to match the couplers, doesnt look too bad, but could probably be better.

One problem I did have, I couldn't get the stock box to sit back on the studs as it was factory. So, to compensate, I just cut the intake tube on the box back a couple inches, so it was still right in front of the airflow. 'Rigging at its finest, lol. I had a loud whistle for a while, but that seems to have gone away.....

Edit: Heres a pic before it was painted. It looks much better now. I think my "fitment" problem is with the huge elbow. IDK, after looking at this pic, Im kinda embarrased about it, lol. I still have about.....9ft of this pipe left, might have to try something else....

DDM - $29? Wow!! I found the HIDextra coupon code on here somewhere. You may have to search for it. I think I may do the slim fit ones next from HIDextra. I will check out DDM as well. Does anyone have that site? Wait....

I heard that the DDM products do not work with our Chrylser products....anyone?? Or at least the new Dodge RAMs - '06 and up...

I have not done the HIDs in the Hellas as of yet. When the time comes, I will definitely post some pics. I wonder if anyone has done that yet??? I know you have to modify the housings as they are a little slim.

Rome was not built in a day. It will come!
