yup, ive had that problem a few times...you are just going to have to get a sawzall and cut it off. I dont know why they dont have a better way to grip the top of that shock, its not even a hex head, two sides are flat and the other two round

I got the spring partially in but I'm curious, do I have to line up the end of the coil on the bottom with the hole for it in the lower control arm?

There should be an indention in the lower coil bucket that matches up with the spring. It should only if I remember correctly the indention should be only a few inches. That's where the end goes. Make sure you get that spring seated right or you're gonna have squeaking.

Got the 2" coil spacers from Fat Bob's Garage with Pro Comp ES3000 shocks. I got the kit on but I think something's effed up. It drives and rides like total dog chit and the front is higher than the rear. I'll get pics up in the morning it's dark and I just wanna sleep, I've been at it since 10 this morning.

I may be wrong but it appears to me that at full extension of the suspension the upper control arm is hitting the top of the shock tower. I'm picky as hell though and I can tell the slightest little differences when driving my truck so it may just need and alignment really really bad.

edit: heres some during pics and that damn shock mount I had to cut off.
