After my truck got messed up in the tornado its not the same after being repaired. All the creeks n rattles etc is getting to me bad. I spec'd out a new challenger R/T. I was gonna buy 1 already but the city i built my home in changed the plans on my garage from 4 stall to a large 2 to fall under some BS code so i have no room for what i already have. I was offered 22K for my truck as trade towards a new R/T at 35K then i found a rust free white 84 dodge 4X4 for 1500 bucks. My payments on the truck are left at 3 years to go.
Bottom line...what would you do?
Im leaning towards going for it but not 100% and wanted some other perspectives from you guys!
Thanks in advance,
Tom

sounds like you might already have your mind made up. not to mention the unhappiness with the trunk will only continue to eat at you.

about your home, check the area zoning, thats what will tell you can and cant be built, and your set backs, etc

ive always loved the challenger, wanted one ever since they started mentioning em years ago, then they came out and so did the price tag, and I was like wow, but then again a new ram is ridiculous now too.

Sad thing in respect to the home, i left the specs to the drafters and engineers...they said my design could be built on my plot of land...then the city "found" a deal in which they could screw it all up in the end under some BS code that had maybe 2 inches of dust on it.
The car: im in LOVE with the car and think id be happy as hell with an old school truck i can actually fix myself and an old school car with new school technology...the cuda has always been my DREAM car since i was like 8....cant get much closer than a challenger.

Oh yea...my bad, 1800 not 1500 but close enough!

But then again...3 more years of payments. This has been a big struggle.
I was gonna rip apart my bike in 2 weeks and redo her from front to rear costing about 5K...out the window if i get the car.

Idk I understand almost being done with payments. But I think you would be so much happier with the old truck and nice new car.

Man, I would hate to see you get rid of your truck. It is the best looking white truck on the forum. But if you are unhappy with the way it rides now after the repairs it might be time to move on and get yourself something that makes you happy when you drive it.

I say get the car and truck. I think you will be much happier with those than the truck that is going to bug you.

Challengers are the best looking of the new ponies, so nice. I would love to have a challenger and a new camaro.

i think its car OR truck. i think he was saying the car is stretching the budget already, so no room for a truck also. Its not just the small cost of the truck, its the insurance and maintainence every month too, which is why i said truck and bike. he'd have money to play with them, cause no one likes a completely stock vehicle (even if it is a sweet challenger)
