2006 Ram quits running after fill up.
Also, I had an old jeep with a screen on the end of the pick up in the tank. The screen got clogged with crap and would do the same thing. However..........the only reason I'm not thinking it's sediment is that it ONLY happens when he fills up. If there's crap in the tank or on the pick up it would be there no matter how full the tank is. Just my thoughts.
Make sure you aren't filling it too full. Quit pumping when/with the first fuel nozzle snap. Something to do with a certain amount of air space is required after full tank indicated.

Once I run it about 3 or 4 miles, I don't have any problem.

When the gas kicked off, I pumped an extra .47 in to make it an even $55.00. So I wouldn't have thought that would have been the problem. But the next time I need gas, I'm only going to fill up to about 3/4 of a tank.

CWB, Hope the problem has found a happy point and you are good to go.
You'll be surprised to how sensitive some of these rolling systems are with just a little 'topping-off' will do after the 1st nozzle snap. Especially when one will fill-up on a cool morning and the heat of the day will expand the fuel. It doesn't hurt to leave a little space.
