Default got the Flowmaster 40 put on today

Well everyone I got the new exhaust welded on today and it is nice! You can just tell a little difference between this and the stock exhaust Got the dual on the 4.7L and was very surprised it sounds awesome and it brought the tips out the side behind the tires and raised the hangers and pipe so it was closer to the truck and didn't hang as low at the stock, but at the same angle. Now we just have to see how the wife likes it....................................

Yeah it will only get louder I've only got about 20000 miles on mine but she screams goin up hills. Haha, yesterday a s10 (I know right, a lil s10) came up and heard my exhaust when I started going at the green light so he must have thought I was trying to race him. He gunned the lil guy and made it to the next light. I amused him and floored it when the next light turned green and left his ears ringing in my rear view. My wife just shook her head.

So did you get the magna flow muffler and the flowmaster pipes with the chrome tips or just the pipes and tips? Sorry, new to the truck game.

Had my Flowmaster 40 put on last Friday. Cost a bit more than expected, since they had to make a custom y-pipe to run from my headers. Passenger header didn't bolt on to the pipe due, too much offset. Running a dual exit out the sides behind the rear axle. Sounds better than the Super 44 I had, that system got bent up when I backed down a hill and bottomed out at the road.

I like my FM 40 too. For just a muffler swap, clamped on to boot, it sounds pretty good. $125 total, def worth it to me. I know I coulda saved $50 or so and clamped it on myself, but after I got to hacking on my old blazer's exhaust, I just couldn't get the clamps right to where there were no leaks. Ended up having to take that one to the shop anyways, lol.

Did you go to Waynes? I took mine there, bought it from him and he installed it for $100 flat.

I like my flowmaster 40 also, but now it's seems quite to me since I always keep my cutout open. And only close it when at lights w/ cops
