I'm going to pick up the MOPAR filter too and try it out.
I may give the MOPAR filter a try too but im not due for an oil change for at least another few weeks, let me know how it works out for ya

Depending on availability, I'll usually grab a Wix, Mobil 1 or Purolator filter. They are usually among the top rated ones on the market whenever I read a review...

Thumbs up

Mobil 1 - 10w30 and M1-301 filter used in my '05 Hemi since new with no problems; I'm not likely to change using either one.

I've never had a problem, in 29 years, that I could trace back to an oil filter. I've used my share of Frams but always grab the supposed upgraded ones - extra guard or whatever they are called. The shop that changes my oil when I don't uses Purolators. I know some people only change the filter every other oil change but I've always changed every time. No need to risk anything over a <$5 part.

I use penzoil full synthetic and the tg fram filter because the wal-mart in my town doesnt have much to choose from, just a crappy reg store nothing super about it. They only have the mopar filter for a charger for some reason.

Im runnin the purp with the mopar filter right now, but next time im going back to the quaker state hp synth. I didnt see any difference between the two (mpg or butt dyno), so im not gonna keep paying 100$ a case for the purp. I think that stuff is for super tuned motors anyway.

Just put in the Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic and mopar filter. Just posting to admit to being a repeated dumbass when it comes to changing my truck's oil. I'm used to 5 quarts on most everything I own or have owned and I always know the hemi takes more. So, I proudly purchase 6 qts. of oil and have done this, I think, every freakin time I've changed my own oil. Wrongo - it's 7 quarts with a new filter. Back to Wally World I go.
