I'll remember it sooner or later. I doubt there will be any way to tell a difference about a filter unless I have problems. The one I pulled off that my mechanic put on last time was a white napa filter. I'll probably be changing my own oil from here on out. It's easy enough to do, I've got the right stuff for it, and it's cheaper or at least around the same price to use superior products in place of the cheap stuff they use.

Anyone else run 10w-30 in your hemi instead of 5w-30?

autozone & o'reilly has the 5 gt jug of Mobil 1 5-20 with a Mobil 1 syn filter for $29.99. This filter has a retail price around $9-11. Dont forget to pick up two extra qts or just buy 2 sets of the package deal and save even more $$$.

I use Mobil 1 oil in everything. It saved me a costly engine repair in my daughters BMW. I also use purolator filters. As for Fram filters, years ago I used them but when they first went bi-lingual I bought two with no threads and blew another off my sm block chevy engine. I won't use them even on my lawn mower. Motorcraft filters are also good in my book. Line them up at the store and compare the visible quality side by side. Personal choices....
