Default Lifted 02 Ram, Need Shock Opinions

Hey all, I have a 02 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 SLT Plus, sitting on a 6" fabtech lift and 3" PA body lift. Running 37" tires at the moment. I am thinking of upgrading from the fabtech shocks or generic ones whatever came with the kit. I was hoping to get some with remote reservoir's. Anyone have any experience with maybe some bilstein's, kings, fox's, dirt logics? Or anything else? I am going for a very smooth ride on the road. A shock that would make my big fat truck feel like a caddy would be great Any opinions?

Fox, King, or Bilstein will all do the trick. Never tried the Dirt Logics, or Procomps Reservoir shocks

I've heard more of Bilstein being a little stiff. Rough country being softer and Fox, well $$$$$$$$ but well worth it.
As far as the caddy ride, that all goes hand in hand with your springs, tire hardness and design that doesn't include a solid rear axle!!!

Remote reseviours aren't going to make your ride any softer, but allows the driver to have more control by better reaction time of the shock/strut in comparison with the terrain.

I think this question should be asked to each specific company or maybe a place like 4wheel parts who may sell various brands and have hands on experience.

as far as brands go i had very good luck with bilsteins and fox's are good. theres better but more expensive. im not too sure on the availabilty for "light duty" trucks. when i had my 02 i had a hard time finding shocks for it....i didnt have too many options. but if you want an awesome ride, spend the money on the shocks, and them have them valved for your setup. valving them is crucial! people dont seem to understand that

sick ride mmstar. and yeah, i want softer valving because i'm on regular road 90% of the time. i mean it's not horrible right now, but we all know how a lifted truck feels, stiff. i run some pretty crazy trails the other 10% of the time, a lot of loose rocks uphill, mixed in with the ocassional mudding session i think stiff shocks really only help keep traction to the ground when your actually movin at a decent speed. most trails i do your almost crawling the whole time.
