Hey I'm Jay and finally decided to join the forum after finding lots answers to my problems on here I also have a question for anyone in this forum that could help. I have noticed real bad wheel hop with my truck. I really noticed it today when i took it out in the snow and starting from a dead stop i got wheel hop while slowly creeping forward. I have not really matted it because of this wheel hop. I also read on another post that weight in the bed might help, so i loaded my bed with heavy wet snow, and have still noticed wheel hop, This wheel hop is happening on dry pavement as well as snowy roads. I have thought it could be the struts or the leafs are shot. If anyone could help me with this it would be highly appreciated.

It happens in 2wd. I have not really noticed it in 4wheel. It came from the factory with 3.92 gears and L.S.D.

I thought it might be the lsd, it doesnt do it all the time. But on of my friends drives a f150 reg cab short bed with V8 and 5spd 4x4 and a few months ago the rearend went along with the transfer case. The shop called ford engineers and had never heard of something like that happening to a stock truck with a Detroit LSD. I just hope its not the lsd i love the traction it has, but still cant beat a locker, but better that open diff any day
