moesperformance.com has drop shackles for the rear buy the 2" ones they give you 1.5" drop total in the back....i have djm ones and no over load leaf and im pretty much level with in a 1/4"....just if you remove the o/l leaf don't over load your bed with stuff....

yep, ditto. 2" shackles and remove the overload spring. I have a 80# tool box and mine set dead level. When I pulled the O/L spring it appeared to have never been used. I also pull a 12' enclosed motorcycle trailer (VTX1800) without a problem.

drop shackles and O/L delete would be your cheapest and best bet, for about $50-60 bucks, but you would prolly only get 2'' of drop. if you spent a little more you could get a flip kit. which for about $250-$300 you could get about 4''-6'' of drop. but then you would have to level the front as well. (drop springs or spindles) then you might as well just buy a full drop kit. but as for cheap, just get the drop shackles...

I put on the mcgaughys drop shackles on last weekend. I got them from moesperformance for $75 shipped. I am happy with the way it looks now without taking the overload spring off.

When i first bought the truck about 6 months ago the front from the top of the tire to the fender well was 3 and 1/2" and the rear was 7 and 1/2" so i but a 1"and a 1/2 lift in the spings and that gave me 5"s in the front but the back is still to high.I what to lower so it will be easyer to load our dirtbikes and it will look better.
