Default BFG Mud Terrains

Anyone here got these? My friend just got a set on his red Z71, we went out to my favorite hill climb/ mudhole and I have to say I'm not impressed. Given this was some sticky soupy chit but those lugs just packed with mud and basically made em slicks. He claims their all badass but I'm right behind him in mine watchin all 4 wheels spinning like crazy just to get through what I'm going through in a 2wd truck!

in my opinion the entire line of BFGs are utter garbage. But, I guess you pay for the name.

He's had em for like 6 hours and he swears to god these are the best tires ever, I'm never gonna let him live it down if I have to pull him out.

BFG is the most over-rated tire company out there. The only tire of theirs I would ever consider putting on my truck would be the Baja T/A's, and that's only if I made it my full-time pre-runner that saw nothing but dirt.

I agree. I've had 2 sets of BFGs on my trucks thru the years and had cupping problems and have never been impressed with their off-road ability.

How could a z71 with mud tires get stuck in something that your 2wd with mild tires could ggo through?! you got a locker in that thing? or is that guy just a dumb a** and not know how to drive lol

The mud-terrains wont last very long at all.
You'll burn through them like nothing.

Although, I would have to disagree with some of the other statements made.
My BFG all terrains are awesome. They haven't failed me in the in mud, and are AWESOME in the snow. no problems at all getting anywhere last week in 24+ inches blizzad in Pittsburgh. They can be pricey though. But mine look brand new and I have 20k+ miles on them.

Pretty much, he's a freakin tard when it comes to driving in general and I can't believe he hasn't totaled his truck yet. So mudding isn't exactly a strong point for him either, as far as the tires go I'm just basing it off of what I saw happen before my eyes.
