New kid on the block
Hey folks,
New guy here....names Kyle. Just wanted to stop in and say hello. I just bought a bank repoed 05 Ram 1500 4x4 Quad cab SLT. This thing is super clean for an 05. It has the baby v8, but with only 80k miles it was well worth the 9000 the bank asked for it.
I already have a set of Helo 791 series 17 inch rims in chrome heading to Oklahoma from North Carolina for it. Also scheduled to get a ready lift leveling kit installed tomorrow afternoon. In my yard sits a half lifed set of 33 inch nitto mud graps that I found on craigslist for 300$ for the set
. As soon as the rims make it in, I'm gonna have them put on. I plan to run the new nitto trail graps on it, but when I found the mud graps at that price I couldn't turn it down.
I've read this forum long enough to know yall love pics and I will have them as soon as I get work to the truck done. In fact I'll go take some pics of the truck right now, some tomorrow after the level, and then the finale with the rims and tires. Theres a slight chance the rims may not make it in time for this week. If so it'll be monday of next week for sure.
Anyone have an power mod ideas for the 4.7 liter? The gas mileage sucks so far.

it will with those wheels too...just for an idea of things...tuner s/c 3865, intake..http://cpwstore.carpartswholesale.co...S-V218205.html, and do the exhaust to your likings....some ppl here swear by magnaflow other like f/m and alot are using aeroturbine.....welcome to the club....theres deals on everything at different websites and when they are found usually they are posted and shared.....
