Default dam spare wont come down

as you can see i have an 08 ram and i have a screw in my tire and yesterday i took out the jack and the poles and i put the poles together to try and get my spare out and i tried for like an hour to get it down and cant seem to? i just got pisssed and left and said *** it. i need some help it just wont come down is there a secret that i dont knjow bout...chit

Somebody get the soap and wash out his mouth! lol are you sure you were turning it the right way to lower it down?

ya trust me i tried turning it everywhich way possible i turned it the right way for ever i dont know why. it wont seem to catch i just figured id put it in there and turn and it would come down.

I think it's counter clock wise. I had to kick the tire a few times as I was lowering it but she came down.

you have to push the rod in a make sure it locks then you can turn it and release it down

turn counter-clockwise. it does take a while to come down, lots of rotations. like MOPAR said, try kicking it.
