Does the superchip really add that much power, if so I'm buying, but they didn't make one for the 08 4.7l when I looked into it 6 months ago. Oh yeah, Silverbullet..I saw you driving past Yesterday while I was at the dentist on center/Mitchell across from uta..nice truck

Just received word several other parts need replacing, including tie rods, a ball joint a rod and the pitman so another $900 and a day more ithout truck.
They say i will steer perfectly and nothing else to worry about.
Still gonna see what kind of deal is available on the 08 Ram with 40,660 miles.

 

Just came back from dealer talking about 08 ram Big Horn Edition with 40k listed for 15,899 and told him if the steering wasn't perfect on truck tomorrow it's time to trade. Asked first if he'd go down to 15K and he wasn't sure if manager would go for it. Then offered him an unofficial deal of 10k and my 1998 Ram trade in for the Golden Beauty and he sounded excited, wasn't positive sure but optimistic.
What do you fellas think?

 

4.7 is what replaced the 5.2

 

Id imagine your truck is worth a little more than 5g's isnt it? It all depends on what its worth to you, both the old truck and the 'new' one...

You are right, the truck is worth lots more than 5k to me. Definately eliminating that offer and rethinking trading it in.
