Default Took her in for an oil change....

Just about to hit 6k (5906) so I visited my local dealer for service. Told the service writer to use my oil (mobil 1 5w20 & filter) and needed the tires rotated. Mentioned that it was pulling a little to the right so go ahead and check that out. Got a ride home and went to bed. Phone rang 4 hours later telling me the following...
Oil was changed and front end lubed
Front end alignment
All 4 wheels balanced & rotated
Steering linkage replaced from a recall
muffler & bracket replaced (tech heard a squeeking noise)
Bill was $37 and some change. $15 for oil change and $19.99 for rotation.
She does drive truer, and I guess I don't here the squeeking from the right side any more. Moral of the story, very please with how quickly everything was done and thrilled every thing was under warranty. i do have the lifetime powertrain (2009 model) and got the life time bumper to bumper @ cost!!! Moritz Chrysler Jeep Dodge in West Ft Worth, before anyone asks.

Excellent price tag, I agree.

Alignment around here is $50 or so, but a lot of times you can get it thrown in for free when you purchase new tires. Other than those times, its pretty hard to get that done for free.

Service writer told me alignment was 12mo/12k so it was covered by warranty. Very pleased with them, bought my jeep there too in '05.

i provided my own oil. $15 was for labor only. I stocked up when autozone had 5 qts and mobil 1 filter for $29.99, i mean I really stocked up being that I run 5-20 syn on both vehicles.

I bought 6 pks of the autozone deal for $161 +tax. they gave me a 10% discount for a bulk purchase. Sams had 6 btl case for $28 a few months back. total ends up being $31.49 for 7 qts of 5w-20 full syn and a mobil 1 filter for the Hemi and $26.83 for the Jeep. Add $15 the dealer charges for labor and that's one hell of a full syn oil change.
