Default New pics......New questions

Well, heres the pics..... I love the way it looks fellas!! Its weird how I can tell Im sitting up a little higher, not much, but its a difference. HOWEVER, the first thing I checked for was clearance on everything. Its REAL close to that......arm.....I guess it is, lol (god I gotta learn this ****) I got the guy, who BTW had the same truck as me, 'cept with a level and firestone mudders, he came out and had a looksee. He said theres about a 1/4in between the rubber and metal. Said to just "keep an eye on it, should be alright till you get the level". He also said he would do the level for an hr's labor ($80 maybe?)

I can slide a piece of paper between the two, so its not touching completely, but the paper doesnt fall I tried to climb under and take a few pics, but I don't think they're good enough to see real well. What ya'll think, should it get me by a couple hundred miles?

After the level, it'll look real good, I just hate regretting **** I decide to do, especially when I KNOW better Hope ya'll got good news. If anything, thanks for reading, and ya'lls help throughout this process. Ive been bugging the hell outta some of ya'll, and I gotta feeling it ain't over yet

With just the slightest bit of mechanical knowledge you can put on a level kit, it's not hard at all it's just time consuming.

The boy told me he could do it in an hour......IDK though, he said he got his kit from Advanced. I didnt even think to ask if it was 4wd or not. I've got a little know-how, just timid when it comes to this truck. My old Furd and my little Mighty Max, didn't matter, didn't have 4g's between the 2, lol. This one I wanna do right, which apparently Im already not, lol. I'll probably just see if the ol man can get one of his guys at his shop on it, and let me "be involved", which usually means "in the way", lol

Edit: I mentioned those also OE, he spoke against the idea, but Im taking his advice with a grain of salt. Id imagine just the fronts spaced might look kinda funny wouldnt it, or no? If the level fixes this problem, Id probably just go that route. But I can't imagine it would help that much. Guess this is where all that backspacing stuff comes into play huh? Spacers might be the ticket.....

It's close to the upper arm where the ball joint sits? I got a 2wd of course and mine is really close too, but I've not had any rubbing. As long as you don't have rubbing, clearance is clearance. You'll be fine. Don't sweat it.

Yeah what cwboyjohnny said. I have about a finger's width between my tire and the upper control arm and it's never rubbed.

From what I have read about wheel spacers, everyone says to get the hub centric ones if you do. And don't go over 1/4" because: a) your bolts won't be long enough to tighten the lug nuts down properly and 2) they could cause more stress on components and lead to other problems because the weight distribution is moving out. But there are a number of threads on that topic and people that will argue for and against spacers.
