I was all for the second opinion but I didn't get to read the post until after I had went to the shop and watched em put it up on the lift. By the time I got home the shop was closed for the day, and it's being worked on as I type this. So oh well I guess, if I overpayed big time thats my screw up or if something didn't need replaced I got suckered. I don't care though, I'll just pay more attention to m chit and check it every so often. I don't plan on takin it back to a shop for service unless it's something over my head.

 

Tell them to eat $hitt and die, get your truck back and take it some where else, or look real close and find the broken parts

 

Well, I asked them if I could have my old parts back and they will give me everything but my old rack back. They are gonna charge me a hundred bucks to have it back since they send em off to be refurbished and now I'd be willing to bet this so called new part is prolly refurb.

They are YOUR parts...YOU payed for the new ones...I'm sure they didn't give you a discount because they can sell the "broken" ones they take off.

Maybe just tell them you want to LOOK at them, but u don't want them back, since those shady queers wouldn't let you in to see them yesterday. I would threaten to get the dam press involved...This is ridiculous

 

Now you see why i was so pissed before, this is the kinda chit this shop pulls on me but out of all the ones in town this one has screwed my family over the least. I really doubt I got a new rack on there, they prolly gave me a chitty refurbished one with new black spray paint on it to make it look good.

 

You need to go up there and stand up to them....Be like this is ****ing bull**** yo...I asked you guys to see the parts that were broken, and you wouldn't let me see them...NOW you want to charge me $100 to take them so that I CAN look at them...I checked them before I dropped the truck off and they were fine when I did, for all I know they aren't even ****ing broken and you're trying to take advantage of me cuz I'm a kid.

You've let this go too far without going in there and really raising hell with them and they are just continuing to walk all over you. Don't let them get away with this ****. Tell their asses that if they won't even let you look at the old parts and the new ones in the truck, you are going to a local news company w this ****. Like, they can't ****ing refuse to let you see things that belong to you.

 

Yea the parts were on the truck when I bought it and they belong to me, I never agreed to any type of trade in for new parts or anything like that and if he says that's what's up I'll tell him to f**k off put my old parts back on and I'll do it myself. I'll take it somewhere else to get aligned and buy a rack and put all the stuff on that needs replaced. It's times like this that make me want to open my own damn shop and take all the business from everyone in this f**king town.

 

they are only going to charge you with the 100 bucks if you keep your rack, you can still look at it before they ship it as a core. The other parts are yours to keep and i would keep them to see if they were really messed up. But be cool but stearn

Got it back finally, I didn't even f**k with em. I just paid it and left, I don't wanna mess it with it I'm never goin back there again. It is a refurbed rack and that kind of annoys me though. If this think only lasts like 30k I'm gonna f**kin explode.
