Diablo is pissing me off
Also, I'll find some data out for you Weed, but it seems logical to load the SC TCM support into your truck and THEN load the DSP in for the engine parameters. Just seems that if you load SC in after the DSP, you will wipe all the parameters you intend to use(i.e.engine). Since DSP doesn't do TCM support for your 04, then the DSP won't wipe the TCM support that you loaded in with the SC tuner. Plus(in theory) it will write over the SC engine parameters which is what you want. I hope I didn't totally confuse you??....lol i doubt you would get double the parameters, but maybe they know more than I and that's likely. The first thing the DSP will do is reflash and wipe out your prior programming that was loaded into with the SC just like the factory programming and same as if the dealer reflashed the ecu. I just don't understand why there would be double parameters unless they have conflicting schedules.
I'll do some digging myself for you and see what i can find, but that's the only logic i can put with it.
I do remember chatting with a few select guys that have stacked. maybe i can make a phone call for you.

It is not just a vehicle update, the tune itself was updated and now pulls harder that the 9r04 and 9r05, everyone who I have talked to that has had the tune work has seen an increase in power after adding it. Plus there is the throttle sensitivity adjustment as well that is a great added feature.

You are right except cant you do it like this.....
I would load the DSP first and copy the stock tune and export it as a backup. The restore the stock tune back. That way there is a back of the original tune.
The load the SC and backup the original tune and set the trans tunes accordingly. Then load the DSP and backup the SC tune and export it for PCM changes and load it as a custom tune.
But if I later wanted to make trans changes all I would have to do is restore the DSP's original tune (SC tune) and then make changes with the SC and then load back the DSP.
Doesnt that sound about right?

I dont think it will work like that. I know it sounds right when you play it out but what you want to go check is when you plug in the DSP, even though there are no trans options, I have heard that it will still read the TCM.
