I have seen guys with stock rims run 12.5 wide, you just have to be very careful about keeping the pressure right, and also you want to make sure the tire is tall enough to handle the width difference in wheel to tire size. Like if you were only running a 31 that was 12.5 wide on the stock wheel I would tell you not a chance, a 35 on the stock wheel is doable though.

I really thought the 305's were pushing the limits on our stocker 17's..... There will be NO room for airdown situations, thats for sure. Id be nervous the whole time about that bead blowing man, real nervous....
On a side note, what spacers you plan on running? I need to grab some 1/4in'ers myself, just to give mine a little more breathing room. Even if the level gives me more room, I'll still go with them, I love the look of SMKN's truck....

And while theres people looking............ Is there that big of a difference.....danger wise.....between the 1/4in spacers and 5/16in?? Not a whole lotta difference there at all, but when it comes to this stuff, I wanna be safe as possible. Advance stocks 5/16, $20 for 2.... OR, I could order online and get the 1/4's...

20's are a true 9, the 17's are an 8.5, or at least some of the 17's are, I dont know about all of them, all he said is that the 17's that he has removed from peoples dodges for aftermarket wheels have all been 8.5 not 8's. I called him back to check again, and for the most part I trust him, but if its wrong, dont blame me lol, it is just hearsay, but I do still trust him, he has always been good to me.

Yup, thats what I was just told, like, yesterday. But I saw the 5/16's last night at Advanced, and said "hhhmmmmm, thats only like a tenth bigger", but that could equal 2-3 threads on the studs, so I'll wait and go with the 1/4's. Upon googling, a lotta vehicles need different lugs, even with the 1/4in'ers, would this apply to the Ram as well?
