Brother in law has 08 ram withe remote start. Truck was working fine went into store hit unlock and it worked. He tryed to start and nothing, security light on radio works but it won't turn over. Any help would be great.

 

maybe there is a problem with the bypass module or the key lost it's programming>?

 

Told him to disconnect the battery and wait 5 min. and then try to start. It worked so he will just take it to the dealer and let them see if there is any problems.

 

dod the lights come on like they should indicating a good battery?

 

Yes everthing was working proper. Just would not turn over

 

another member had a similar issue. i told him to use his other key and he went out and it worked. Then all the sudden his other key worked after that. Could be similar problem. maybe you just need to reflash the ecu or the keys??
