damn, that snap ring didnt stand a chance. How long before the new stage 2 arrives?

Well did you find out what caused the trans to blow?

the new stage 2 will be in by the end of this week or the beginning of next. most likely next week. yeah that snap ring is toast, if only you guys could see it in person. its stretched to the max.

yup, the cooler is a direct replacement of the one i ruined already. and also an exact replica of the one you are using truckin, or so i hear.

i dont think i will ever truly know what caused it to blow. could be a number of different things. i am certified in arson investigation, but not blown tranny investigation, nor am i CSI. besides, thats all in the past now, no sense in dwelling on the past. now i have a sharadon tranny to look forward too!

it may look just like yours, but its a good double the size. for reference it was sitting almost right up against my wheel/tire (285/75/17)

i saw a worse snap ring this morning. it was in about 12 inch long pieces

Bad bad pics you got there. But THX for the pics. As for the trans case, since it is aluminum, you could always recycle it.......LOL
