Default Got 'er "Stuck" Today (PICS)

Sorry for the long winded post...
Went and washed the truck today and took some pics for TOTM and I thought i would see how she goes through snow... deepest snow i could find was right along the road in the neighbor's yard . i drove through the first time but the second time i was just crawling in 4 low and got in some soft stuff. we had some rain after our first snow so there is a layer of ice between layers of snow, i broke through the ice and there she sat. i tried to work it back and forth to no avail. eventually i got a shovel and dug out behind the tires. the neighbor stopped by with his cheby and asked if i needed a pull... now i had to get it out! she moved back a little, then forward, back, forward, then i floored it in reverse and it was out! then i gave her hell and drove right over where i just got stuck .

A couple things i noticed:
1. the terra grapplers plug up really easily
2. i was glad i had a trans temp guage. it got up to 150* is that too high?
3. the efan worked flawlessly! i got it wired on low now and it kept a continous temp. and kept the tranny cool too
4. the truck quit a couple times when i would give her hell then slam on the brakes.. the abs would go crazy and the truck would quit . it would always start right back up. any ideas?

i guess i was a little dissapointed but i'm glad the cheby didnt get a chance to pull me out

heres the only 2 pics i got...

I'm not used to snow. But when you start to bog down in mud in 4wd you start kicking the front tires back and forth looking for traction. That sucks, you're neighbor is gonna be pissed. Atleast you didn't let that chevy pull you out and lose your pride. lol

Good info about the fan working well. That was one of my worries about going to one.
