Weird odd problem with HIDs in Fogs

Anyone else's truck do this?

It starts to warm up them strobes and then turns off.... anyone?

screwy ballast? I dont have that issue but thats weird

It just started tonight once I wired up the new head lights. And I effed up and they only turn on for the bright. And so I did the jumper wire to run the bright and fog.

ooo and the fogs fuse is blown too. IDk if any of this helps.

Sounds like you got the jumper wrong and you're now powering it off the high beam circuit.

This is the first Ive heard of anyones foglights carrying on like this. Like mentioned, maybe a bad ballast? IDK buddy, you'd be one of the guys I would ask about something like this, lol....

when it flickers your headlights are dimming. The ballast must be drawing way too much with the high beam circuit. I bet its a safety feature of the ballast in case of overload?

Except for the blown fuse and the headlights dimming, I had the same thing happen to me. I was driving home from work and my fogs started flashing and shut off. It turned out that the passenger side ballast was bad. I talked to the person I got the kit from (Twiggy on DT), and he said to unhook one of the ballasts, so I unplugged the passenger side, and the driver side lit up fine. I then hooked the passenger ballast back up, and the lights flashed and shut off. I sent the ballast back, he sent me a new one and now they work fine.
