You can look here at this thread but to my knowledge there are no C codes for an 04. What are you using to extract the codes?

Held down trip button, turned key to on position.

Gauges moved, thing came on on the digital thing and said c-code then popped up 67-90 then 00-00. Truck is an '04, I beleive it coulda been a really early or late '04. It's my dads truck.

I can check it again, im olmost positive it said C-code

You need to get a tuner or a OBD scanner or get someplace like Autozone to pull the codes and then use the link I gave you above

Get a tuner or go by Autozone and get them to scan for the codes. Use the link I gave you above and download the material and it will tell you how to resolve your issues. All that material in that link is from AllData. If nothing else jusyt go to the link and download everything for the 04 and go from there.

Alright, um def. gonna do that. I figured maybe someone else had the code before and knew what it was for. That was my main concern when I got on here asking about it. The reader is only going to show me the code, i guess I should just go get the Hanes manual then..

The tuner will give you the code yes, but then in those link it will tell you everything else you need to do.

If you get the code and come back here with it, then we can help you better.
