Default Repairing front plastic air dam

I did a search on this and really didnt find what i was looking for. I recently had one of the plastic holders "let go" on the right corner of the plastic air dam on the front of my 05 ram. It is the corner nearest the RS front tire and it the plastic piece that connects in the metal holder has snapped. What's the quickest way to fix it. I have considered bending it and then super-gluing it back up there, but i think it will rip the small plastic prong completely off then. Any help is appreciated.

mine came loose on the drivers side and i had to go to napa and buy a new bolt to screw in there. there should be a bolt that threads into a nut that is held onto the air dam by a metal clip. you may need to replace the clip and the bolt.

If you want a 'metal fix' you have a couple of options. Since it's out of sight, you could take some plumbers tape and run a couple of strips along that edge, top and bottom, where the plastic ripped. drill holes and rivet it in place. Then you can reattach your metal bracket/screw bracket. OR you could take it a step further and put a bolt/nut through there. Doing this will also reinforce that lip for future possible rips. Dress it up further by painting the metal strip to match the plastic.

Those plastic pieces are made from polyurethane. They sell kits (autozone) that are like $13, which you can repair it back to original spec. Takes some time to do it, but the stuff works well. Just like an epoxy, it comes with two parts that you mix together then apply.
