Default 2nd gen needs help with 20's

Alright so Im looking at a set of 20's off a 3rd gen and I know that theyll fit without any problems but I have know clue what size tire I can run on them. How wide are these rims? backspacing offset all that good stuff? I found a set of 305/50/20s on craigslist for a good price and I want to make sure that theyll fit on these rims before I buy them. Thanks for the help

20"x9", will fit fine in 2nd gen wheel well. 305/50's are what I have and are about as wide as you should go on a 9" wide rim (10" would be ideal, but not absolutely necessary).

I didnt think the 2nd gen's could run a 33" (32.5") tire at stock height??? I'm pretty sure my buddy had to lift his 3" to fit them.

What size are your tires now? I show those trucks came with about a 30-31" tire stock. I dont know what the difference in offset is if any between the stock rims, but you may run into some rubbing issues.... May want to look into it some more.
