There was a Thread yesterday from a fellow from TX I beleive had a set of 4 for for $450.00. Good price I think since us Up here in AB the wrecker wants $375 CAD each or 350 ea / a pair. I heard the 20" ride is rougher than 17" but I don't care, they are the ones I'm after. I have a set of 17" American Racing if any Albertans are interested.

Pull the tranny dipstick and look at it.Make sure the fluid isnt dark and smells burnt. If its at a dealer or a shop with a lift have them get it in the air.Check front hub bearings, tie rods ,A arm bushings,u Joints, all that stuff for loose parts. If it moves grab it and shake the **** out of it for movement and slop.Good luck and hope you get it,I have been a GM man all my life but after owning this Ram ill never look at anything else.

I wouldnt be worried about the tires on the 02? Its 8 years old I would hope the origional tires are long in a landfill by now?
Also I have New Wrangler Hp's on mine and have never had an issue with them :-)

Depending on how many miles the truck has on it, I may pay an independent mechanic a few bucks to do a compression check on the cylinders to make sure the motor is still strong. Other than that check all the fluids like mentioned before. Take a look at the oil filter. Sometimes its a dead giveaway if someone has neglected the oil changes. Check to see if it's clean or has been changed recently. It shouldn't look beat up if he's changing the oil every 3-5k miles. I've also read that the plenum gaskets on those 5.9's can go bad causing it to use a quart of oil in between changes. Good luck man, hope it works out for you.

All I know is, I've owned a lot of cars throughout my lifetime, n this dodge product has not had ANY issues in four years of ownership. I've never had that in any of the other vehicles I've owned. Lol. I've had chevys, Nissan, hondas, n pontiacs. Wanted a foxbody mustang, didn't get that chance. So, I cant honestly rate a ford. My cruiser os a ford, but we beat the livong dog **** out of our cruisers. Lol. Just know one thong, I wished that my cruiser was a new charger. They are sick and much faster then the crappy crown vics we have. Lol.
