That would be good advice, except that he said he doesnt care about the performance increase. And like someone else said, just for the mpg gains its not the best mod to get. Paying 350 bucks or however much the cortex costs for a 1-2 (closer to 1) mpg gain isnt perfect thinking. For performance though i would def say go for it.

guys do the math... as i posted earlier, if he saves 1 mpg, it'll pay itself off in 20,000 miles. most people drive that in 1-2 years. a sweet performance mod that will pay itself off? SIGN ME UP! (oh wait... i already have one.)

Thanks guys. Keep it coming!

Yes, I am not going to complain about performance gains at all...of course I am a performance guy. But if it makes the truck get 10mpg around town, no thanks...

I guess its not all about mpg, and I didnt guy the truck because mpg, but it gets just as good, if not better mpg then my Grand Cherokee was getting plus now I have a bed I will use often!

I work anywhere from 5-6 days a week...so fig...50-60 mile trip each day, thats 250-360 miles a week depending on my schedule.....so basically fill up once a week on gas

Now...I cant remember when reading, BUT, does the SC eliminate the torque mangment on the trans....that does get annoying....but I dont want to sacrafice trans issues down the road...I cant remmeber if I read that it did this or not. Or is that in the new stuff thats coming soon here to allow that to happen?

The tuner is worth the money for performance gains,no doubt. If you want a solid MPG mod I would say go with a E-Fan.

Definitely one of the BEST MODS I have done!! I highly recommend it, with that being said, you will NOT get that much better mileage(to much fun to have your foot on the floor LOL) but it will make up for it in drive ability!! You will enjoy driving the truck much more than you do already!!!
