ok so far ive cleaned my intake, cleaned the carb(ill have pics later), changed the t-stat, and now im in the process of the seafoam treatment. i got about another 10 mins of it sitting and then il go see if it smokes at all. after that ill take it for a quick drive and then its brakes and oil change. dont know if ill get to the plugs today. i got stuff i gotta do this afternoon/evening and i dont wanna be rushing. ill do the plugs sunday when its warmer and sunny out.

oh by the way, if anyone gets the stant 180 degree t-stat, its 64mm where the oem one is 63mm so i had to file down the new one very little to fit. kind of a PITA cause i dont have a file and had to use a knife file so it took forever, but its in there and all good.

And KUhawkFAN my rotors are fine, but i thought i was better to cut em to have the new surfaces work with each other. hell if it doesnt matter than ill save the money! i also upgraded to ceramic pads so i dont know if that makes a difference or not??
Your right, when you install new pads you should get the rotors cut, just to get the shine off them, so you can have new metal to pads, if there in that good of shape I have seen people use sand paper on them, don't work as well but it's better than nothing

jk360.
yeah hopfully the plugs dont suck too much. ive read the back 4 on the drivers side suck, but i have a body lift so i should have more room to play with.
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets every Friday off, would love to work on my truck but we are in a thaw and it's too muddy, hose frozen.

For your plugs, Dog easy. Its all about the right tools. Use 1/4 drive for metric coil-pack screws as we know the v cover threads are alloy. Inch pounds torque wrench will allow a perfect seat when you put em back, on. If you don't have one, again use (1/4 Deep). For the ones you quoted you need to get right in there (regardless if you are big or small) l mean lay over the fender / rad and use lots of padding (No jokes please). Other trick is using an exact length 3/8 extension or combo of 2 short ones other than what a "standard" set" gives you. Once you get them to snap, unsrew only a few threads enough to remove the ratchet so you can use two fingers to finish (They will be out quick). A rachet with quick relase is best so you don't beat yourself separating the ratchet while in that position.
