That's not when there's a problem. Let's see that same kind of pic at night, or a dreary overcast day. It's like how tinted tails look fine at night but other drivers can't see them during the day.
Let me also add that whoever did the tinting gets sued after the wreck too.
ive had mine over a year and had no issues with police.... 35% on sheild, 5% on front 2 doors and 20% over factory rear doors an rear glass... ive heard/ seen people do 20% which i think would be too dark if they make 30% id do that.
heres one on overcast day.. it looks alot darker... trust me thou... from the inside its not really that dark
john M, thanks for the input, but I still like the look and 50% tint is just there to block the UV rays and keep everything cooler inside. I have no problem seeing at night and its actually even better because it block out the glare of oncoming traffic. 50% is still light enough to wear a average person isn't going to be like Oh crap that windshield is tinted.

thats a good point to make. I love the way my tinted tails look at night but during the day it's a safety hazard IMO. I tinted mine too dark so during the day you cant tell if im braking or not. Id like to see a night shot through the windshield..
