lets see the tinted windshields
I wanna tint my whole windshield like a light 50-75% with a double limo 2.5% tint strip at the top. What is the biggest strip i can put up there, I was thinking around 8"s. Anyway post pics of your tinted windshield please. I need to get a idea on what to do.
You mean like how far you can go down on the top strip without it being illegal? Pretty sure it's six inches in most states. Not past the AS-1 line.
well the tint on the windshield is illegal anyway so are my tinted windows, blacked out tail lights, painted headlights. haha so i'm not worried about illegal. I'm worried about being so big that its just annoying.
Depends on the brand I suppose.
I know in FL you can't go past the AS-1 line. I suppose if it were light enough tint and the rest of your windows were fairly dark it would be harder to tell and you may not get stopped for it. It does look pretty cool, but nothing I would do.

If you get caught in Montana with tint on your windshield below AS-1, you'll have to peel it on the spot or you could get towed.

I just had the strip on my windshield redone the other day. When I had my windows tinted I didnt specify how low I wanted it so they just went to the AS-1 line. I had them drop it to the top edge of my rear view mirror. BTW all my tint is 5%.
nah know i have thought about like 60%on the w/s and doing a strip over the top to make it look legal now for some time ...its a hell of a idea...and yes in fla the as-1 line is supposed to be the limit but i know a guy who has his half way down almost and never has gotten a ticket...and it dark as hell
yea I'm planning on getting the brow done to 2.5%. Like I stated earlier, when you get caught here with that stuff you get impounded. If theres one area this state isnt lacking in financially, it's highway fines.
