PML Trans Pan Painted (Pics)

thanks guys! i still cant believe how nicely it came out considering how drunk i was. yes, the clear coat was a high temp, the primer, base, and clear were all ceramic engine enamel. im still on the edge about painting the whole tranny. it wont void any warranty because you only get a warranty from sharadon if they install it. but im fairly sure that in the event something does happen, they will make sure i get taken care of.
after seeing first hand, the quality of this pan, and how nice it came out painted. it has convinced me to get a PML diff cover. gonna paint it up, and sand the fins so it matches the tranny pan. cool thing is, PML is about 45 min away from me. most likely gonna drive up there, take a peek at their place, and pick up the cover.

I contemplated getting either the PML or MagHytec differential cover, but I know me, and with the drain plug I'd NEVER crack the cover and inspect the gears/LSD. Even though I have an Auburn LSD and am not susceptible to the dreaded "c-clip" issue, one should ALWAYS do a visual inspection at fluid change time...

If you towed a lot, the $400 and change investment would be chump change compared to the cost that overheated tranny and diff fluid could end up costing you. Both of these products have been tested to significantly lower the operating temperatures by virtue of adding fluid capacity and their heat dissipation capabilities...
