Also, the fm has been on the truck for about 18 months and it was completely rusted out. What a piece of junk to be totally rusted out in less than two years. That was without a doubt the last fm that will ever be on one of my trucks.
Like you, I am disgusted with my flowmaster. The magnaflow lets you appreciate the smooth sound of our hemi motors without all the excess erronneous droning.

Yeah, after seeing how rusted that flowmaster was I was really disappointed in the quality of their product.

I went with a Magnaflow as well after having a Thrush two chamber for about a year. I only paid $32 for the Thrush from Jegs. It started rusting and sounded very raspy....almost ricey! LOL

The Magnaflow is a very sweet sounding muffler. Good purchase....how about some dang pics???

then why prey tell did almost eighty percent of df'ers like/use fm's?!? I have 50's and I know their gonna rust so does every ex-system, it literally takes a near decade to completely fail. So why worry 'bout something you never see or show off?? Maybe the 40's suck I dunno but i'm good for now.

80%??? where'd that number come from? magnaflow has always been way more praised on here than flowmaster -- by a longshot.

Not only does flowmaster rust out and drone, their mufflers are over-priced. I always buy my exhaust parts from 21stcenturyexhaust; I paid $80 for my new 12588 stainless steel magnaflow muffler. The Flowmaster 50 HD went for a $130; they have to be kidding..

Try faq's mufflers section, You'll see the pole first thing thats asked what mufflers do you like.? Well I can still read bud and it had fm's beating everyone. 80% probably a stetch but definatly in the 70 range. I'm new to the ram and df scene so I'm Only doing what mostly everyuone else is. Opps 81 submissions I read it wrong but still leading the pack at nearly 42%. My bad.

I put the FM 50 dual exhaust on my truck when I bought it in 2004, paid $350 for the system and it still intack and sounds good as we speak. It probably won't clear my flip kit I'm installing so it'll get replaced with something new. But it has been trouble free and I have no complaints.
