Help with debadging!

I just did mine yesterday. Wasn't bad at all. I used fishing line but if you have dental floss that would probably work just as well. I didn't want to spend the money on an eraser wheel that I may never use again so I got the remaining tape off with a plastic putty knife. Then cleaned up the sticky residue with goo gone.
I had the same outline that you guys are talking about. I used some Meguiars Colorx (http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/produc...?T1=MEG+G11816) and it came right off. Then I just put some wax on that area to make sure it was protected.

Ok, just as a follow up, I stopped my Advance Auto yesterday after work and bought some meguiars rubbing compound and tried it and with some small work it did remove the build-up behind the badges. This was not left over badge tape or whatever that stick stuff was because my eraser wheel took all that off. But now there is nice clean paint with no ghosting.

use a heat gun...i did my debadging in 45-50% weather. My finger tips are still hurting!
