Default Help with debadging!

Ive been slowly debadging my truck and some of the badges are leaving a outlines of the badge. Its just a little black outline of it but no matter how hard I scrub or how much goo gone I use it doesn't seem to come off.

Does anyone have anyway that would help with this?

Thanks,

Where would be the best place to get that at?

Would it just buff out?

I did this too but didn't have an eraser wheel available so I ended up using carbeurator cleaner and rubbed with a paper towel...it ate that tape away really well. Washed with soap and water on that area afterwards to get rid of any of the left over carb cleaner..

Its not the adhesive that leaves the mark. Its after the adhesive is gone. It really looks like the badge is outlined in dirt. And it don't want to come off but I will try to find one of them wheel things and see if that will get it off.

Thanks for the help

That wouldn't hurt the clear coat? I know if you use too much goo gone it will eat your clear coat away so I tend to try to keep it to a low amount.

I thought ghosting is when the paint don't match? The paint does match. It just looks like there is a line of dirt or something around where the badge was. Its like a outline of it but kinda faint and black. but just the outside edges of where the badge was.
