Bought my '07 White Ram 1500 QC w/ 9k miles on it this saturday. Come out of school and what do i see? someone has nailed my front bumper! Great...looks like tomorrow i will be skipping class and walking through the parking lot seeing who hit my car (it has black paint transfer so that eliminates about half of them. I can't wait to see who did it...and better yet what the dean is going to do to them once i tell them they hit me and just drove off. (Yes it's a b***h move of me but im PISSED i just got this truck and some idiot slams it? they deserve to have the hell knocked out of them.) and yes for all those who are wondering, i am in highschool still

 

damn whered u find an 07 with only 9k on it?? LOL, but yea, that sucks. I've got scratches and dents all over my truck because of jackas$es. I've given up on trying to stop it. Gives me a good reason to take the truck through the woods now since my paint job is shot.

 

That sucks a$$. I can relate, every scratch or dent is from someone else doing it. And I park my truck away from everyones, my g/f gets annoyed when I park far in the back. Thats how much I try to avoid other people from my truck. But yet I still get dents. People dont have respect for anyones stuff but their own. I sure everyone can relate.

 

I'm sorry to hear that man. The only problem you're gonna have is proving it. I know what you're talking about and yeah, it does p!ss you off when you go out of your way to take care of your truck and some idiot who doesn't care or isn't paying attention dings your truck.

 

well good news is i took it to a shop and they got all the paint transfer off...just 3 large scratches down to the bumper remain. $250 to repaint the bumper...oh well guess i'll just work a few extra days this month

Forget that 250 bucks? I would just keep it like that until you get hit for real.

 

I e-mailed the Dean about their cameras and hopefully they'll have a recording...but our school is pretty new (about 6 yrs old) so they are still touching up the place/installing cameras so idk if where i was parked is covered yet. yah i might wait and now pay 250 until the summer once schools out

 

i get the opposite treatment.they look at my truck and make sure they dont hit it.

 

My highschool had cameras that werent hooked up to anything so who knows. If you go to a DISD school just cross your fingers
