I just realized you live in kempner. I live in cove. I was looking at your truck pics wondering why it looked familiar then i realized i drove right past you a few days ago. Its a clean truck you got there. I have an 04 crew cab with a 4.7
HEY!! you should chill with me and my buddies sometime. im actually at a friends on lutheran church road.
Ok I have gone through this whole thing so far. I have been overseas for the past year and cant wait to get back to my truck. I am looking for headers. Does anyone know any manufactures that make headers for the 4.7 yet. I would like to stick with Gibson to keep the whole exhaust system as Gibson. I cant wait to take it to the track and find out what it can do. I know from buying this thing brand new from the lot till the time i played with it a little while i was home it has gotten faster. I know that with the SC FP it get a little better too.
I have a hard time stayin up with my buddies 06 Envoy with the 5.3. Only thing he has done is a resonator delete. I think once the GMs start modding your in trouble. The LS motor is no joke when modded. They love it.
i know that about two months ago i was at a party and this guy was goin on and on about how his 6.0 chevy was the best thing ever, and then talked **** about my hemi. i told him to put his money where his mouth is. so we lined up on the road and did about a half mile run from a dead stop. he lost by almost 5 car lengths according to the ppl at the finish line. his mods were it had true duals glass packs and it was chiped, oh and he was 4wd so i had a power and weight advantage.
