Like the title says, What is the highest speed you have had your Ram?

I was on an empty stretch of highway this evening that cops rarely patrol and I decided to open the Ram up. I got to 120mph, then lifted because I was getting a driveline vibration (U joint??? I think???), but it was still pulling strong.

So what have you had your to and did you have any vibrations past 100mph?

 

Before the level and 33's, I had it topped out at the governed speed...I cant remember what that is for an 04. Now, after the level and 33's, I never go over 80. It feels just to fast for a truck that high. And its not even that high!

 

Usually if it is a U joint at that speed and you can feel it. It tears itself up before you get the vehicle shut down. Keep looking...

 

I am not sure what it is. This was the first time it has happened, and it has not done it since as long as I keep it under 100. I drove 50 miles home at 75-80 mph and no vibrations or noises at all. I was just guessing a U joint. I am not sure what is was

I've hit the govenor of 140 with the superchip.

ive had the little 4.7 up to the governor the gps said 106. my friend has an 03 v6 and for somereason we havent got the speedo to stop yet past 110. the only thing he has on it is an exhaust and theprecious owner put a little chip thing under the dash where if it ppulled out the truck wont start he said thats all its for. but i dont know why he dosent have a governor any ideas?

 

i have a 02 1500 4.7 and i hit the govener at 164km/h

my n/runner did some running at night front end started too bounce/ bad struts i'm sure but i lost my nerve at a buck ten. It felt like i was boating =not driving so I let up could of buryied her i'm sure. just not gonna till I get the struts done
