Question Suggestions on exhaust system

Hey guys, been a member here a while now, never really posted much though. I have to say recently i've caught the mod bug that is so prevalent around here. I've been debating about a new exhaust system for the ol' hemi, but not sure what to go with. Just trying to get a feel for what everyone around here likes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, also trying to stay on a budget of less than $500, but you know how that goes.

Look into a magnaflow cat back kit. Great sound, great flow, and all stainless steel. Their catbacks range from around $400-$600. They are also very easy to install.

take into consideration where you live loud pipes cause phone calls and cops/flowmaster 50's are quiet when you need it too be and just loud enough for your right foot ego/also check out earlier thread on an exhaust posted today . that one was from mrbn. or somthin like that that was a good deal but loud as well.

I agree, I just put a Magnaflow system on my truck, and love the sound and performance!

not gonna lie, i just got a y-pipe running back with no mufflers, still got the cats though.... Some people think its to loud but i like it, has a god deep sound to it, and plus u dont have to hammer the gas to get a good nice loud sound that will kill ur gas milage..... but i also have a 4.7 so i dont know about the 5.7 and how it would sound.

Just had a cat back mag flow single in dual out welded in. Exits via two chrome tips before the passenger rear tire. Paid $450 for it stainless steel and professionally installed. Sounds awesome and only real load when I step on it. Decent more go and much better MPG(11->15 or so)

I have a 40 series Flowmaster.

Dimentions - 3" inlet into 2, 3" outlets and it sounds great.

The sound is great getting a LOW Growl when at an idle.

When you give it a gallon it produces a DEEP tone giving all other makes goosebumps!

Go to you tube and type in different mufflers on 5.7s and you can some what get an idea of what you want but I promise you will love this set up.
